2016 BMW X5 Release, Redesign and Review

So far we have seen three generations of this model mid-sized luxury crossover. the current model was launched last year, so there will be some high expectations for the 2016 BMW X5. According to the information we have, there will be a variation of M hybrid sport of this crossover will come with 2016 X5.

Well, visual aspect 2016 BMW X5 will remain the same. Next to the new color options will not see too new. There will be some tweaks minimum, with bumpers and lights. When it comes to interior, things will also remain practically the same. The current model is already equipped with excellent cabin, which is luxurious, spacious, comfortable and full of hi-tech.

Bavarian automaker is well known for its wide range of engines on offer. 2016 BMW X5 will not be an exception. The basic model will be powered with 3.0 liter V6 that is able to provide around 300 horsepower and around 300 lb-ft of torque. The second option is the version that called xDrive50i is powered by 4.4 liter V8 emits 445 horses and 480 lb-ft of torque. 2016 BMW X5 will be available in diesel version. This model will use a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel, which can produce 255 CV and 413 lb-ft of torque. All variants will be combined with the 8-speed automatic transmission, which will provide power to a rear or all wheels.

The most important fact is that 2016 X5 will come in hybrid version and M Sport variant M will be powered by 4.4 liter V8, which outputs 575 horsepower and will be mated with ZF 8HP automatic transmission. On the other hand, hybrid variant called 2016 BMW X5 eDrive use 2.0 liter four-cylinder, tuned to 241 CV and 258 lb-ft and electric motor which will provide additional 94 horses and 184 lb-ft of torque.

2016 BMW X5 is expected to arrive next summer. Price should remain the same, which means in a range from 50,000 to 70,000 dollars.
