2016 BMW 3 Series Release, Redesign and Review

BMW 3 Series is a compact luxury car, which came in 1975. So far we have seen six generations. The new model looks like a 2016 BMW 3 Series comes with several improvements.

As you probably know, the Bavarian car manufacturer does not usually make big visual changes during the half cycle. 2016 BMW 3 Series will be no exception. The test model was spotted and the spy photos we can see that there are too many areas covered, which indicated only minor updates. On the front bumper should be changed. You will get the most aggressive form and will feature larger air intakes. Rear also feature restyled bumper, but expected taillights will be changed also. Rest of the 2016 BMW 3 Series is expected to remain virtually unchanged.

You could say that the visual changes are far from spectacular, but on the other hand, in 2016 BMW 3 Series comes with crucial changes under the hood. It seems that we are going to see three new engines in the next model year. The model 328i is to be replaced by the 330i, which will be powered by a new 4-cylinder engine that emits 270 horsepower, which is 30 more than current. The 335i will be replaced by 340i, which will be powered by a brand-new six-cylinder engine with maximum output of 330 horsepower, which is 30 more horses. Finally, the base model 320i with the new engine too. It will be the same motor which is used for Mini Cooper S, which generates 192 CV, which means 12 ponies more than the current 320i. All of these engines will be paired with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission 8-speed.

Although these details are still unknown, it is expected that 2016 BMW 3 Series will arrive in the second half of 2015 with only a few minor differences in price.
