2016 Acura ILX Release, Redesign and Review

2016 Acura ILX is officially presented this year at the show in Los Angeles. This model was first introduced in 2012, the customer is able to choose between a 2.0L engine rather dated with five-speed automatic transmission, then hybrid for which no one probably did not even know that it exists, and the 2.4L engine with gearbox six-speed manual.

2016 Acura ILX now only offers an improved version of the 2.4L engine said, now with 201 CV, while the power is transferred to the front wheels by the eight-speed automatic transmission. This transmission has received much praise in the market in an integrated manner in ILX seemed a logical move.

On the design side, 2016 Acura ILX has received minimal changes in the form of bumper, LED headlamps and 17-inch wheels. While these changes certainly not make a big difference, they are still large enough that the potential customers realize that this car is still there. The changes are much less in terms of the interior, where, except for some small things, ILX is identical to the model it replaces. Acura expects most buyers to opt for the A-SPEC package, which adds fog lights, 18-inch wheels and some sports bumpers.

Japanese automaker promises that the changes are much larger in terms of suspension and 2016 Acura ILX is not far behind the TSX, but we wonder what a sports car that is based on the Honda Civic can be. It is this fact, the biggest problem, who can not hide his steps. However, despite this, it seems that the ILX is definitely in the right direction and that this car definitely has a future.
