2016 Jaguar XF Release, Redesign and Review

Jaguar was not competitive in the class of midsize luxury sedan, until 2008, 6 years ago they launched their first XF as a 2009 model year and stopped in this market. Now comes a new model from the company and we can see what Jaguar is planning for its mid-size sedan called 2016 Jaguar XF.

The first thing we noticed on the spyshots updated 2016 Jaguar XF is the longest stride. According to what we have seen, 2016 XF will be positioned between the other models Jaguar XJ and XS, is coming refreshed in the same year. This vehicle should be built on modular iQ [Al] platform presented in 2013 at the Frankfurt car show. E 'was used for the small sedan XS. The aluminum is used for doors and body panels, which should lead to weight decrease of current 3850 pounds. Comparing to the current model, in 2015 XF is even wider, particularly the front track. Wings are extended and we can expect air intakes close to the bumper. Rear doors are stretched, and the front will have a new look, especially with new grille. Headlights will be redesigned and will look like Q-type Jaguar. However, overall proportions are similar, only the new model will be larger.

It 'possible that the motor current 2.0-liter four-cylinder models will remain an option for the 2016 Jaguar XF. However, there are voices telling there is no possibility of supercharged V6. Also, do not rule out transmission by V8 mix. Still in development, we can not know if Jaguar is planning a hybrid version of the 2016 Jaguar XF. What is certain, the CO2 emission will be reduced and stimulate output. And 'certain that the power will be distributed to all wheels throuhg 8-speed automatic transmission.

Release date is still unknown, as this machine will be 2015 or 2016 model year. There's plenty of time to develop, and we are sure that we will get excellent midsize sedan.
