2015 VW Golf GTD Variant Release, Redesign and Review

Slowly we fail to follow through all the variations of the VW Golf that are available on the market, but this does not mean that VW plans to stop the expansion of this model. At the Geneva Motor Show, VW announced the first of the new model, the 2015 VW Golf GTD Variant.

After presenting the R performance version of the Golf Variant, VW now add character GTD in the most practical of the body. How to hatch patterns GTD, GTD Variant, it will run 2.0 TDI engine with 181 hp and 380Nm of torque, which is available from 1,750 rpm to 3,250.


2015 VW Golf GTD Variant accelerates from 0 to 100km / h in 7.9 seconds, 0.4 seconds slower than the hatch variants. The combined fuel consumption is 4.4 liters per 100 km, compared to the 4.2 hatch pattern. GTD Golf Variant is different from the normal Golf GTD thanks to the bumper and grille specific, tinted rear lights and a few more details. The car is equipped with 17-inch wheels and Chrome Curitiba exhaustion. Standard equipment includes Bi-Xenon lights, 15mm lowered suspension and improved system management.


2015 VW Golf GTD Variant gets sports seats with Clark material, as a black sky and other details in the cabin. Decorative panels are Checkered Black color, a multifunction steering wheel with aluminum detailing, the gearbox in the form of golf balls and aluminum pedals contribute to the sporty ambience. The price of this model in Germany is € 31,975.
